ZNIPP Workbench

Your experts build with AI.
We make sure it holds up.

You know your business best — so build with us. We set up the Workbench on your own infrastructure, review every step, and run what you build. Code, data, and servers stay with you — in Swiss or European data centers of your choice.

Expertise instead of specifications

The people who know a business best know what its software has to do. With AI, they can build it themselves today. The only question left is whether the result holds up.

Until now

Explain, wait, correct

You describe your processes to a developer, wait weeks for a first version, and then find out what was misunderstood.

Today

Build it yourself — fast, but risky

With Lovable, v0, or Claude Code, a working prototype takes hours. Often on someone else's platform, with no backup, no access control, and no plan for running it.

With the Workbench

Build it yourself — and it holds up

You keep the speed, and the expertise stays in charge. We take care of architecture, review, security, and operations, on your own infrastructure.

A prototype is quick to build. Running it is a different discipline.

AI tools deliver in hours what used to take months. What they don't deliver: access control, backups, updates, and a data protection concept. The numbers show why that matters.

How the Workbench works

Every change takes the same path: built on the Workbench, checked in review, accepted in test, approved for live. That takes minutes, not weeks — and spares you the surprises.

  1. 1

    Build

Your experts develop with Claude Code in a shared browser-based environment and see the running application right away. We work in the same project.

  2. 2

    Review

Every change lands as a merge request in your private GitLab. We check architecture, security, and data protection before it moves on.

  3. 3

    Test

Automated tests and security scans run on every change. In the test environment, you accept the result yourself.

  4. 4

    Go live

Once accepted, a change goes live on approval — on your own infrastructure. If something goes wrong, the previous version is back with one click.

Operations

We maintain the application servers, install updates and security patches, back up daily, and test restores regularly. Monitoring flags problems before your users notice them.

Who does what

You

  • Bring your expertise in your processes — no requirements document needed.
  • Build what your business needs with AI and see it running right away.
  • Accept changes in the test environment and approve what goes live.
  • Own the code, data, accounts, and servers — from day one.

We

  • Set up the Workbench, GitLab, pipeline, and hosting on your accounts.
  • Make the architecture decisions with you that will carry your application for years.
  • Review every change for security, data protection, and maintainability.
  • Run the application servers: updates, backups, monitoring.
  • Step in when you or the AI get stuck.

Where your data lives

Data protection isn't decided while coding but in operation: where the application runs, where the data is stored, and which AI models process it. That's why we keep these three places strictly apart.

Development

Built with test data

On the Workbench, you and the AI work with test and sample data. The development environment has no access to the live database — your real customer and business data never comes up while building.

Live system

Your account, your data center

The application and its data run on your own account with a Swiss or European hosting partner, such as Hosttech, Infomaniak, or Hetzner. Backups stay in the same location.

AI in the product

Models in the right location

If your application uses AI itself — to summarize or classify, for example — we pick a model that runs in Switzerland or the EU. Capable top-tier and open-source models are available in both locations today.

You decide where your data lives. We tell you exactly where each component runs.

How to start

Three ways lead to the Workbench — depending on whether something already exists and how much guidance you want.

Workbench Check

We review your existing AI prototype for architecture, security, and data protection. You get a findings report with priorities and an honest recommendation: harden it or rebuild.

Who is it for?

For companies that have already built something with Lovable, v0, Bolt, Cursor, or Claude Code and want to know whether it's fit to go live.

Workbench Setup

We set up your Workbench: development environment, private GitLab, pipeline for test and live, hosting on your account, backups, monitoring, and a data protection concept. Then we build together for the first week.

Who is it for?

For companies whose experts want to build their own tools — with or without an existing prototype.

Workbench Operations

Ongoing: application server maintenance, updates, backups with restore tests, monitoring, reviews of your changes, and an agreed allowance for guidance.

Who is it for?

For everyone whose applications are in production and who want to focus on building rather than upkeep.

What we don't do

No hosting of our own

We're not a hosting provider and don't run physical servers. A hosting partner provides the data center and infrastructure on your account.

No general IT

PCs, email, network, Microsoft 365, and printers stay with your IT partner. We take care of the applications and their servers.

No 24/7 on-call service

We monitor your applications and respond during business hours within an agreed time. We don't promise round-the-clock service.

Nothing goes live without review

What hasn't been checked doesn't go live. This rule is built into the pipeline — it protects you, even when things are urgent.

Frequently asked questions

Do our people need programming skills?

No. What it takes is expertise in your processes and a willingness to try a new tool. You describe to the AI what the application should do and see the result right away in the browser. Where it gets technical, we're there.

Which tools do we work with?

At its core, Claude Code in a browser-based development environment, plus a private GitLab for the code and an automated pipeline for test and live. Nothing needs to be installed on your company computers.

We already have a prototype built with Lovable, v0, or Bolt. Can you take it over?

Yes. In the Workbench Check, we review your prototype's architecture, security, and data protection, and tell you honestly whether it can be hardened or whether a clean rebuild is cheaper. Then we move the code into your own repository, and you keep building on the Workbench.

Does our data stay in Switzerland?

Your application and its data run where you decide — with a Swiss or European hosting partner, on your own account. While building, the AI only sees test data. And if your application uses AI itself, we pick a model located in Switzerland or the EU.

Do you host our application?

No, and that's on purpose. We set everything up on your own account with a hosting partner of your choice and look after the application servers. That keeps you independent — of us, too.

What does the Workbench cost?

It depends on how many applications you build, how much guidance you want, and whether a prototype already exists. We work out your case in a first call and then send you a clear offer.

Who is responsible if something goes wrong?

Responsibilities are clear from the start: you are responsible for the business logic and approve what goes live. We are responsible for the platform, pipeline, backups, and updates within the agreed scope. And because nothing goes live without review, most mistakes are caught before they do harm.

What happens if we part ways?

Everything runs on your accounts: development environment, GitLab, servers, code, and data. You can carry on at any time, on your own or with another partner.

Show us what you're building

Whether it's a first idea or a running prototype: in a first call, we work out what the Workbench looks like for your project. No obligation, free of charge, and confidential.
